About Ernie and Mary
Ernie Batson, M.A. has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. Prior to launching Sunshine Consultants, Ernie had 20 years of classroom teaching experience. His career in the public schools included: Coordinator for Curriculum and Staff Development, Facilitator for district wide implementation of inquiry-centered Science, and teacher of a one room (K - 6) rural school house.
Mary Batson, M.Ed. is a Reading Specialist with a Master's Degree in Education. Prior to launching Sunshine Consultants her career experiences included: Assistant Director for The George Washington University Reading Center and Lead Teacher for Cognitive Development Program classes at The George Washington University. She also worked for public schools as a Special Education Preschool teacher and Braillist.
