Ernie Batson, M.A. and Mary Batson, M.Ed. We are a husband/wife team and the founders and energizing force behind these two great companies. Together we have over 40 years experience working with young children. Ernie is a Colorado licensed teacher with a Masters' Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Mary has her Masters' Degree in Emergent Literacy and is truly an expert at working with children with autism.
Along with consulting, writing books, and developing products for the early learner, Ernie and Mary are the founders and Directors of The Learning House. The Learning House is a nonprofit early childhood school for children of all abilities between birth and age 8, their parents, and the professionals responsible for the care and education of young children. The school has been opened since February 2002 and uses a Math and Science curriculum to promote inquiry, critical thinking, and problem solving--all great skills to learn at a young age and while having fun. Ernie and Mary are the authors of the school's curriculum.
